Atlanta ODP Camp
Dynamo Chamblee
This camp is used to both train and tryout for the ODP pipeline program. ODP is literally the (P)rogram that USAWP uses to (D)evelop our future (O)lympic team. National coaches and staff will work with our local athletes over the course of two days at Dynamo in Chamblee. Athletes must attend this camp or another SouthEast Zone ODP (there is one offered in Florida later in the fall) camp to be considered for selection to the Zone team. If your athlete is selected to the SouthEast Zone team they will be invited to play at the Super Regional tournament. Each zone across the nation will bring 2 teams from each age group and gender (HS grad years 2025-26, 27-28, 29-30) to a super regional tournament sometime in early January 2025. At Super Regionals the zones are then pared down to only one team to represent the southeast at Nationals in March. From there the top 40 or so athletes are selected from each age group and gender to attend the National Team Selection Camp. Fall/Winter Practice Registration
CAC and WGAC
Look for the Register Now button on the home page in the coming days. Practices this fall and winter will be on Sundays as in previous years. Players are highly encouraged to join a year round swim club to stay in condition for tournaments. Practices will focus on the fundamentals of treading, passing, shooting, working under pressure, and game strategy. Practices will be divided between Cumming Aquatic Center and West Gwinnett Aquatic Center in Berkeley Lake just north of Norcross. If your player would like to attend a tournament with NAWPC, that will be a separate registration. All tournaments are à la carte. |
